Greetings, Your Majesty,
We take time each day to honor you, descended from a lineage of stunning and resilient women who have not only endured but flourished.
We pay homage to Anarcha, Lucy, and Betsey, whose experiences laid the foundation for contemporary gynecological practices.
We extol June Dobbs Butts for her pivotal research advocating for open discussions about sexuality within the Black community.
We respect the contributions of Audre Lorde, Toni Morrison, Zora Neale Hurston, and others who through their literary works, have celebrated and narrated the tales of Black women's sexuality.
We acknowledge both the visible and the invisible efforts of those who have historically recognized the allure and appeal of Black women.
This is the moment to proudly wear your body's natural shapes, to admire the beauty of your skin, and to boldly acknowledge the pleasure it can bring, including the delight of the clitoris.
Now is the time to fully inhabit our joy, our allure, and our sexual identity in ways that our forebearers might never have imagined.
Today, we rejoice in your essence!
